As a solo performer, Randy has a repertoire of upwards of 1000 songs and performs over 350 shows a year.
Randy started playing guitar and singing at the age of 11 in a family that loved music. Both his parents sang in barbershop choruses and he quickly developed an astute ear for music and harmonies. He played with a horn-based dance band in high school as well as with an all acoustic folk group. While at college at Kent State University, he played with the popular Cleveland 50s band, The Fabulous Blue Moons. After moving to the Chicago area in 1981, Randy spent the next 15 years raising a family, then he joined a local church's worship band where he played for 6 years. He then formed One2Many where he played for 5 years, and following that he played with The Incognitos. As a solo performer, Randy now has a repertoire of upwards of 1000 songs and performs over 350 shows a year. In addition to performing primarily at senior facilities, he has appeared at White Pines Resort in Mt. Morris, IL, and Starved Rock Resort near Ottawa, IL, in “A Tribute to Roy Orbison.”
