Our building is ADA-compliant. We always strive to make the library a welcoming place for people of all abilities. The library offers many free services and devices for individuals and groups with disabilities.

Facilities & Mobility Accommodations

• Drive-Up book return located across from the Main Entrance. 
• Designated parking spaces located in the East and West parking areas.
• Limited mobility designated parking spaces located across from the building entrance.
• Automated door openers on front doors.
• Wheel Chair* and Amigo Scooter* available on request at the Readers Services or Check Out Desk.
• Wheelchair accessible restrooms located on the main level near the Check Out Desk.
• Elevator located near the Check Out Desk.

Program Accessibility

Rolling Meadows Public Library strives to provide inclusive programing for all of its patrons. The Library will make every effort to provide reasonable accommodations as requested by individuals with special needs. Any questions can be directed to our ADA Coordinator.

Program Accommodations

Please fill out the form below with any accomodation requests OR print, fill out, and return a paper formPDF File. Please be as specific as possible.

Illinois Talking Book and Braille Service (TBBS):

The Illinois State Library TBBS External Link provides a free digital audio player and a variety of spoken materials to anyone unable to read standard print material due to a visual or physical disability. Braille materials and Descriptive Video Service films with audio narration are also available.

All materials are sent postage-free through the U.S. Postal Service. Contact the Home Delivery Coordinator at homedelivery@rmlib.org or (847)259-6050 X117 for help determining eligibility and signing up.
