The Mystery Guest by Nita Prose

Molly Gray is not like other people. With her talent for cleaning and exemplary etiquette, she has earned the esteemed position of head chambermaid at the Regency Grand Hotel, a position she proudly fills every day, fluffing pillows, vacuuming up guests' secrets, looking after the staff and returning the rooms to a state of absolute perfection. With her beloved workplace under investigation, Molly begins to search her memory for clues, revisiting her childhood and a mysterious mansion where she and her late grandmother worked side by side, and whose memories may hold the solution to the mystery. Because the truth is that Molly knew the victim much more than others imagine - and she also knew her secrets very well.
