Ages  Grades 9–12

Details There's more to the Teen Area than meets the eye! Stop by anytime in October to explore books, games, and crafts. Grab a free snack, then find the secret password hidden in the Teen Area. Tell it to a Readers Services Desk staff member to earn a raffle ticket for a chance to win a mystery prize basket!

Morbid History

Tuesday, October 20 at 7:00–8:30 p.m.

Ages  Teens 13+ & Adults

Details Morbid History is presented by award-winning filmmaker Lorrisa Julianus—“Because you’re just more interesting when you're dead!” From grand corpse larceny in medieval Venice to iron coffins popping up in Lincoln Park, this light-hearted presentation takes you around the world with spine-tingling true tales you never learned in history class.

Teen Craft Kits

New seasonal craft kits are available every month for Rolling Meadows residents ages 13+. Pick up at the Readers Services Desk beginning the first of every month.

The crafts can be enjoyed at home or in the library using supplies from the Art Cart. You’ll find directions, resources, and basic materials in each kit. Advanced crafters are encouraged to use materials they have at home to take them even further.
