Rolling Meadows Library Receives $14,145 Security Grant from Illinois State Library
The Illinois State Library has awarded Rolling Meadows Library a $14,145 Security Grant.
We're grateful that Secretary of State and State Librarian Alexi Giannoulias and the Illinois State Library recognize how important safety is in our libraries. This support will fund upgrades to our exterior cameras—giving us clearer, wider coverage of the building and grounds so patrons and staff can feel secure whenever they visit—along with cybersecurity training that helps our staff protect the personal information our community trusts us with.
Thank you for helping us make Rolling Meadows Library a safer, more welcoming place for everyone who walks through our doors!

"Libraries are one of the best investments we can make in our communities. They help children discover a love of reading, connect job seekers with new opportunities, provide critical access to technology and serve as trusted spaces for millions of Illinoisans. These investments reflect our commitment to ensuring every Illinoisian – regardless of ZIP code – has access to quality library services, modern facilities and welcoming spaces while protecting their freedom to learn, read and explore."
