About The Friends

The Friends of the Rolling Meadows Library is a nonprofit organization comprised of library-loving local residents. The group was established in 1958, prior to the library’s founding, and has been helping to enrich the library ever since.

The Friends hold three used book sales throughout the year and run the Friends' Book Shop, located on the main floor of the library. 

Meetings

Friends meetings are usually held in the library’s Community Room on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Please call the library to verify meeting date and time prior to attending.

Friends Make A Difference

The Friends of the Rolling Meadows Library are always accepting new members, and there is no cost to join. If you are a community-minded individual with some free time to spare, consider joining the Friends! Stop at or call the library's Welcome Desk at 847-259-6050 OR fill out the form below.

Material Donations

The Friends of the Rolling Meadows Library ask for your help to make their book sales successful. Show your community spirit by donating materials. Please be mindful to donate items that are clean and in usable condition.
