With world-class vocals, dazzling variety, and an immersive video backdrop, LUDY and his LADY deliver a performance that will take you on a breathtaking journey through the silver screen’s most unforgettable moments. Enjoy legendary songs you love from Titanic, Grease, The Bodyguard, Dirty Dancing, Footloose, and many more. LADY Nicole Puleo has been performing at a variety of venues throughout her lifetime. She first sang with John LUDY Puleo in 2014, when they realized their vocal stylings suited each other and that audiences wanted more. In 2021 they began performing regularly together, and were married in 2022.

Mark Dvorak: The Traveling Folk Song

Through song and story, “The Traveling Folk Song” recounts Mark Dvorak’s long journey through music: beginning with learning songs from his family; to taking guitar lessons at the Old Town School of Folk Music; to embarking on a career that would take him across the country, learning and writing new songs. Accompanied by his 6-string guitar, 5-string banjo, and 12-string guitar, Mark performs a folk concert that reflects on our common musical heritage. Born and raised in the Chicago area, singer-songwriter Mark Dvorak has spent over three decades on the road performing and recording, and is also an integral member of the faculty at Chicago’s venerable Old Town School of Folk Music.

Petra Sings!

Vocalist Petra van Nuis and pianist Dennis Luxion, a Chicago-based duo, have been noted for their “seamless camaraderie” (Chicago Jazz Magazine). Dennis is best known for being Chet Baker’s pianist during a European tour, and for making six recordings with him. Dennis’s recent overseas performances included a tour of Southern Africa as part of the Rhythm Road: American Music Abroad program, administered by Jazz at Lincoln Center. Petra has been praised for possessing “a light, gorgeous, and fairly delicate voice…[with] a gift for melody and plenty of rhythmic confidence” (DownBeat magazine). Petra is known for her celebrated Recession Seven jazz ensemble and her intimate duo with her husband, guitarist Andy Brown. After countless gigs together, Petra and Dennis collaborated on Because We’re Night People, a collection of evening-related songs. The album was awarded 4 stars and included in the “Best of 2019” issue of DownBeat magazine. Petra and Dennis continue their Saturday-night residency at Le Piano jazz club, and recently recorded the song “From Me to You.”
