Your password is the last four digits of the phone number associated with your library account. You can reset your password by phone, in person at the Check Out Desk, or in your online catalog account.
Your library account will now use a password instead of a PIN to sign in. You may still see the terms PIN and password used interchangeably on login pages for online learning tools and other digital resources provided by third-party vendors.
Your username will be used for some of the new catalog features, including lists and community features like ratings and reviews.
Yes. Once your username and new password is set up, you can continue to log in with your library card number. You don’t need to remember your username to access your account.
No. A username cannot be all numbers. This is designed to ensure a patron's library card number is not displayed publicly.
Usernames need to be unique across all BiblioCore customers. Some usernames may already be in use.
In the United States, children under 13 are not allowed to enter free-text on websites without parental approval (per COPPA: the Child Online Privacy Protection Act). In the new catalog, youth accounts will instead choose their usernames from a list of color/animal/number options. Once a child turns 13, he or she will be able to select a username and have other free-text options available.
