Drop into the library to create a fun craft. Little ones may need some help. No registration required.

Crafts At Home

All Ages Activity

Each Craft at Home activity includes a supply list, written instructions, and picture of the finished craft. All crafts can be made with simple things found at home. Look here for a monthly new craft.

Don't Have a Printer?

If you don't have a printer to print any instructions and craft templates, come to the Ask Me Desk and we will give you a printed copy.


Spring Craft Spotlight

Paper Yellow Duck Craft

Yellow Duck


Supplies Needed:

  • scissors
  • glue or tape
  • Printed Instructions, which include:
    • 1 large yellow circle
    • 2 medium yellow circles
    • 3 orange small circles
  • 1 googly eye

Instructions:

  1. Print the instructions* and cut out all the circles.
  2. Fold the largest yellow circle in half to create the body of the duck.
  3. Glue one of the medium yellow circles along the folded edge of the large circle to create the head of the duck.
  4. Fold the remaining yellow circle in half and glue it to the body of the duck to create the wing.
  5. Fold the three orange circles in half and use them to create the feet and beak for the duck.
  6. Add the googly eye to the duck or draw one on with a marker.
