Material Donations

The Friends of the Rolling Meadows Library ask for your help to make their book sales successful. Show your community spirit by donating materials. Please be mindful to donate items that are clean and in usable condition.

Items we accept for our sales:

  • Hardcover Books
  • Paperback Books
  • DVDs & Blu-rays
  • Music CDs
  • Audiobooks
  • Records
  • Sheet Music
  • Cookbooks
  • Coloring Books
  • Video Games
  • Puzzles

Items we cannot accept for our sales:

  • Encyclopedias
  • Magazines
  • VHS tapes
  • Text Books

Drop off your donation at the Readers Services Desk in the library’s lobby. Be sure to ask for a receipt for tax purposes.

Please Note: Book/material donations are accepted throughout the year, with the exception of two weeks prior to each book sale.
