Teacher Book Bags

The right books can help your students engage and develop academically while working independently. We order new books weekly and have thousands on our shelves. We can select a bag full of the best high-interest books for your students.

You can request books by topic, author, sudent interest or reading level. A Librarian will prepare a selection of books from the youth collection for use in your classroom.

About Book Bags

Details & Eligibility:

  • Book bags are for PreK-8 grade teachers working in a Rolling Meadows school. 
  • Request up to 50 books.
  • Allow 5 business days for preparation.

Delivery:

We can offer delivery of your book bag to your school. We will email when your books are ready and to coordinate delivery with the District 15 van. If you need books before the scheduled delivery day, we will do our best to coordinate delivery with you.

Renewals & Reminders:

We will contact you by email with reminders as your item's due dates approach. Need more time with your book bags? Call or email us to renew your books. We can renew materials if not on reserve for another patron.

Returning Books:

To return books to Rolling Meadows Library pack up your items in the book bag and leave them in your school office. Once they are in the office send us an email and we will coordinate pick up with your school.

Use the form below to request a book bag of high-interest books for your students! A librarian will prepare a selection of books from our youth collection for classroom use. All fields are required. Please submit request at least five business days in advance.
